Oldest Creatures In The World:-Do you know which is the oldest living organism in the world? If you do not know, then let us also find the answer to this question with you. By the way, turtles are considered the oldest living animals. A turtle had been alive until the age of 250 years. Similarly, some American crabs lived for about 140 years. Some corals live for thousands of years. A snail named Ming was five hundred and seven years old when scientists accidentally killed him. However, these figures will fade when you know that there are many such creatures on earth which have been alive for millions of years.
Oldest Creatures In The World
In the fierce wintry environment of Siberia, Antarctica and Canada, there are many bacteria under the layers of ice, which have been lying there for millions of years, rather than living in fun. How these germs are living in such a cold environment, no one understood this till now. But, it is definitely that if that secret is known, then the human will also get the key to remaining immortal.
In 1979, Russian scientist Sabit Abizov was working at the Russian station Vostok in Antarctica. Then they discovered some bacteria, some fungi and other small creatures at a depth of 3600 meters. About these creatures lying in such depths, under millions of tons of snow, Abijov estimated that they have been alive for thousands of years. These creatures would not have gone there from the top
layer of the earth. Therefore, his age is considered to be millions of years.
Discovered in 2007
This record also broke in 2007. A team from Copenhagen University in Denmark and its leader Aguwske Willerslave discovered a half-million-year-old living bacterium from extremely cold areas in Antarctica, Siberia and Canada. Two years later, an even older bacterium was found, about thirty-five million years old. It was discovered in Siberia by Russian scientist Anatoly Broshkov. Broshkov injected this bacteria into his body as well. He felt that this bacteria, which has been alive for thirty-five million years, might also make him immortal. Broshkov later claimed that he never had a cold-fever until two years after injecting the bacteria.
The question arises how scientists claim that these bacteria have been alive for millions of years. They may also be new generations of earlier germs. But the reality is that where they are buried in the icy layer, there is no scope for breeding them. Even if their DNA somehow forms new cells, there is no place for them. That is why it is said that these germs buried under hundreds of meters of snow in Siberia or Antarctica have been alive there for millions of years.
Power Of Oldest Creatures
On this basis, some scientists claim that some bacteria have been buried under such ice for millions of years. These bacteria have been found within salt crystals found at a depth of 600 meters in the New Mexico area of the United States. They belong to the era when dinosaurs lived on Earth. American scientist Russell Vreeland, who discovered these germs, says that they are exactly the same bacteria as those found in the Dead Sea (Dead Sea) today. There too the water is so salty that it freezes like a piece of salt. Some of these germs were brought to the lab. They started becoming active again.
By the way, some scientists do not consider 2-9-3 bacteria as being millions of years old. Russell Vreeland, however, stands by his claim. They say that now within the salt fragments, many new species of these germs have been found. They are said to be three to five crore years old. But none of these come close to Vryland's claim of a twenty-five million-year-old bacterium.
These bacteria lying in a very difficult environment did not have a chance to breed their new breed. So they save their lives, have been quietly lying for millions of years. To be alive for millions of years even in such a bad situation is a matter of extreme importance. In order for any organism to be alive, it is necessary that the damage done to its cells from the bad environment is repaired. But where these millions of years old bacteria have been found, water and other important things are not available for the repair of cells. Then how are they still alive?
Scientists say that on encountering a bad environment, a shell is formed around the bacteria. This is called a spore. It is so strong that even an atomic explosion has a difficult effect on it. In 1995, American scientist Raul Cano rejuvenated a bacterium by extracting it from inside a fossil of a fly. These were around three crore years old bacteria. This fly was stuck inside the glue of a tree. Along with this, the bacteria had also frozen there itself.
Survive in very Danger Situation
However, some scientists say that even these spores cannot keep any germ alive for 25 crore years. Over the years, the
DNA of any organism will be broken and disintegrated. Scientists say that no
DNA can survive a lightning strike. Lightning frequently falls in a particular area. But speaking of the scope of millions of years, lightning will fall on almost every part of the earth at some time. In this case, how are these germs alive for millions of years?

Russell Vreeland believes that it is easier for bacteria to survive inside salt crystals because there is no water. The bacteria present there can deal with sky rays more strongly. Surviving a germ for so many years can prove to be important for humans. It may also happen that life on our earth came from another planet, some other galaxy, through a comet or meteorite. From this perspective, the expectations of life on Mars have also been raised.
Scientists are also having fear. They think that in the extremely cold environment of Siberia or Antarctica, there may be some bacteria or viruses that humans fear of getting the new disease. Viruses of older varieties of some diseases can be hidden in layers of ice. However, this does not end the search for the oldest living organism on earth. These extremely microscopic creatures are leaving a deep and big mark on today's world.
